Shoji Paper is a bright white, lightweight Japanese paper that is machine-made. It has a unique characteristic as it is semi translucent and has a smooth, clouded look on one side and a coarser texture on the other. While traditionally used for doors, windows, and room dividers, this paper has gained popularity among printmakers and painters.

White, machine made, 4 cut edges. 100% Pulp, pH 6.2

When printmaking you can use this paper for the following processes:

Etching - dampen by spray or by using dampened support paper
Screen printing - paper may show vacuum holes in flat areas of ink
Lithography - good for line work and fine detail but picking may occur on flats
Relief - good for line work and fine detail but picking may occur on flats
