OSB Oriented Strand Board 1220 x 608mm
OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is an economic choice for sheet material. It is strong and often used in displays. However, due to the textured nature of the material, it does not provide an even surface for painting.
OSB is an engineered wood board, formed by combining and then compressing layers of wood strands and additives (wax and synthetic resin adhesives). It is used widely in the construction industry, as well as for furniture making.
Available in 9mm or 18mm thicknesses.
These sheets are cut down from 2440x1220mm sheets, and are approximately 608x1220mm (we refer to this as a quarter sheet).
