Silver Steel is a high carbon bright steel. These round bars are made with fine precision and high-quality steel. They are readily machinable.

The name 'Silver Steel' comes from the rods being highly polished - there isn't any silver in the alloy at all.

Applications made using Silver Steel include as punches, engravers and screwdrivers.
