A stable material for modelling, prototyping, mould making and craft work. Styrofoam was originally manufactured as building insulation board, used in walls, roofs, and foundations as thermal insulation and water barrier.
Can be easily cut, sanded and shaped by saw, chisel, knife or CNC machined. Fine closed cell structure provides a smooth surface that does not absorb water.
Originally Styrofoam was manufactured in a light blue colour, that's now been replaced with a dark grey colour.
