Vanadium Pentoxide
Its major use in the ceramics industry is as a component in the production of glaze stains such as Zirconium-Vanadium ( Orange) or Vanadium-Zirconium-Silicate ( Turquoise Blue) and also in some specialised glaze recipes.
Up to 10% addition gives a weak yellow as a stain. Can be used at a higher temperature than antimony oxide, gives an opaque yellow when used in combination with tin oxide.
