Low Expansion Frit

Low thermal expansion borax frit, which is used to modify and reduce the thermal expansion of glazes when craze resistance presents a problem. Adding more than 5% to a glaze can affect the glaze surface by reducing the gloss or shine.

Firing Range: 1020 - 1150°C
