C. Roberson Gloss Picture Varnish is a traditional picture varnish that provides oil paintings with a high-gloss finish. It is a nearly colourless liquid, formulated from ketone resin, stand oil, and white spirit, which dries to a clear, non-yellowing, non-blooming high-gloss film.
Allow your paintings to dry and cure completely—typically at least six months—before applying this varnish. As it is both flammable and potentially harmful, always take appropriate precautions: keep the container tightly closed and out of the reach of children.
