These Faber-Castell graphite pencils are high quality and their finely graduated degrees of hardness have made them a firm favourite with artists and illustrators. The leads are fully bonded with the wood surrounds and are therefore particularly break-resistant. Available in 16 different degrees of hardness making them the ideal pencil for all technical and artistic applications.

Environmentally safe water-based coating. Extra break-resistant due to SV bonding.

The higher the B number the softer the lead, and therefore the darker the shade. So 8B has the softest lead and produces the darkest marks in this range of pencils.

The higher the H number the harder the lead, and therefore the lighter the shade. So 6H has the hardest lead and produces the lightest marks in this range of pencils.
