Aluminium flat, an extruded aluminium bar which has a wide range of applications. Aluminium flat bar is widely used for all types of fabrication projects where lightweight and corrosion resistance is a concern.

Aluminium is lightweight and highly malleable, it has low to moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Aluminium is not suited to high temperature environments. 

Aluminium is a non-ferrous metal - non-ferrous metals are metals that do not contain iron in appreciable quantities, this makes them more malleable. They also have lower weight, higher conductivity, non-magnetic properties and more resistance to corrosion compared to ferrous metals. These qualities mean that they are generally more expensive than ferrous metals (such as steel).
