These clear acrylic square rods are great for model making and other 3D projects. They are light weight and have high impact strength.
Acrylic is a petroleum-based thermoplastics made from the derivation of natural gas, and is often used as lightweight or shatter-resistant alternative to glass.
They can be cut with a fine-toothed hand saw, or in a workshop using a band-saw or circular saw. They will adhere to other acrylics using solvent (such as Plastic Weld). The cut edge can be polished using abrasive paper then polish.
These rods have a square profile and are available in a range of sizes.
